At Versa, we love getting to know our members and employees on not only a business level but also a personal one. We recently welcomed Faith Couch to our team as our brand-new Community Manager! We hope you enjoy learning about Faith and the unique things she is bringing to our team here at Versa.
Tell us what you were doing before you came to Versa?
Most recently, I was working at the Southeast Ohio Foodbank. Prior to that, I worked in Bali and Jakarta, Indonesia. The majority of my adult years were spent in New York City with a myriad of work experience.
What made you choose to come work at Versa?
So many things! Especially the opportunity to bring together my love for hospitality, people, and a well-run, quality environment – with the opportunity to grow.
What is something about you that most people do not know?
I was born in Ghana, West Africa.
Favorite restaurant in Columbus?
SOW Plated. I’m new to Columbus so welcome all tips and recommendations!
What do you hope to accomplish in the next 30 days here at Versa?
Learning everyone’s name and learning more about their businesses, hosting fun and delicious member events, and in general, “finding my place” within this great community.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Yoga, swimming, and anything active outside. Making and enjoying food/drink. Reading, traveling, and maybe most of all – spending time with Adam and his boys – the reason I’m choosing to make Columbus home.
Do you have a favorite quote?
Not sure it’s my favorite but one that most frequently comes to mind, “Life is too important to be taken seriously.” (Because I take it too seriously sometimes! You’re always welcome to remind me to lighten up.)
Favorite place to travel to?
Anywhere! But most especially tropical beaches where surf, yoga, chill vibes, and local culture/food are abundant.
What inspires you?
The ocean, nature, and people living life to the fullest.
